• Sueño de Pescador is situated in the heart of Baja Sur with easy access to many legendary locations. Literally just over the hill to the north along the coast of the Sea of Cortez is Cabo Pulmo Marine Park. In June of 1995, this area was officially declared a Marine Preserve by the Mexican Government. It is approximately 11 miles long with at least 8 different fingers of coral reefs and is historically known as the only substantial living coral reef on the west coast of North America.

• A few miles farther north is Hotel Punta Colorada, worlds apart from the over-commercialized resorts found in other Baja locations. This area's miles of untouched white sand beaches and prolific roosterfish fishery have earned it the title of Roosterfish Capital of the World.

• Under construction in La Ribera is Cabo Riviera Marina, the dream destination for boating, fishing and golf.

• Los Barriles, a small village to the north, , has some shopping, restaurants and a few hotels.

• La Paz is a larger metropolitan city and the capital of Baja Sur.

• Nearby, to the south, the town of San Jose del Cabo has a new, state of the art marina.

• Los Cabos Airport is a two hour flight from Los Angeles and major carriers access Cabo from most major airports.
